Ms. Gino A. Howard
Welcome! I am Gino Howard, a graduate student of Georgia Southern University aspiring to achieve the Master of Education in Instructional Technology degree. Prior to entering the field of education, I worked in the telecommunications industry for a major utility company. I worked in many capacities for 28 years before my employer moved my former division offshore. At the cusp of the Pandemic, I graduated from Middle Georgia State University where I became a dual-certified educator. I am certified in Elementary and Special Education and I hold a Reading endorsement. Formerly, I worked as an educator to students with special needs in a self-contained setting. In my current role, I teach students who require support via interventions in reading and mathematics; grades K-5.
I am a passionate educator who is dedicated to the academic success of my students. I love literacy, history, genealogy, road-trips, estate sales, and spending time with my family and friends. Through my graduate program, I have added to my skillset and garnered a new appreciation for instructional technology. While viewing my web repository, you will find examples of my work. All work artifacts are aligned with the Georgia Professional Standards required for the Master's program for Instructional Technologists.
